Help finding piston rings
I have a 77 gs750 that I have the engine torn down on to replace all the gaskets and seals. Upon reassembly I crushed the oil ring on piston#3 And I'm trying to find a replacement. The piston when I measure it says it's a 64.4 mm and the bore says 65. I've been looking online but I can't find anything.Tags: None -
Any OEM supplier should have rings. I found a NOS set on EBay for a great price.
I guess you want just the oil ring. That will be tougher to find. Maybe make a thread in the Parts Wanted section?Jordan

I have a 1983 Suzuki Katana GS650G and have to replace the set of piston rings, pistons are still ok. It is first oversize 0.5 with cylinder bore 62.5 mm and piston 61.9 mm. I've been looking at many sites, they do list the 0.5 OS rings but do not have stock. They only have stock for the std rings. Can anyone point me to a supplier, even if it is second hand.Comment
