Two O-rings Stacked in GS550 Crankcase Reassembly?

So I'm about to reassemble the crankcase for my 1980 GS550 and I swear I remember that there were 2 O-rings that were on top of each other where the two halfs of the case meet to make a "tube" that goes down into the oil pan. The parts list says I need two of these O-rings, but I'm guessing one could go somewhere else.

Can anyone confirm that these things stack on top of each other?

How about posting a photo of what O-rings you are referring too.

if it is the same as an 1100, one o-ring goes between the crankcase halves and the other is between the lower crankcase and the oil pan

Thanks guys. I was just out in the garage taking pictures of it and I figured it out. Just like you both said they each have their home. Thanks for the help.
