85 gs550e top end rebuild kit?

Does anyone make a kit for the top end of the above bike? Need pistons, rings and gaskets. Also can the cylinders be bored out? Thanks, Chris

There is no prepackaged kit that includes everything.

Suzuki discontinued OS pistons for that bike anyway.

If this piston kit is complete it's the deal of the century. You might want to contact them. https://www.ebay.com/itm/GS550D-Forg....c100507.m3226

For gaskets, OEM are best. You have to purchase each gasket and seal separate though. Try looking at partzilla for the part numbers and then finding cheaper on ebay or similar. That's a much better path than buying a crappy aftermarket gasket kit.

Another option for pistons is purchase a good used stock cylinder and/or pistons and then get new OEM rings.

      Good luck

He has an '85. 16V, completely different bike. Unfortunately, some new and old parts, like the igniter are like unicorn poop.
