    Stator/Generator Cover Identification

Hey all, not really a technical question I guess... but I bought a stator cover as it was supposed to be for a 1980 GSX1100, however it's most definitely not. It's been suggested it could be from a GS850G but not really sure.

Can anyone enlighten me as to which model it is indeed for so I can offload it? The measurement of the stator mount's outside diameter is a bit difficult to get but it looks around 33 - 34mm.

That looks a lot like the one on my 850.

Although the 1000G shares a gasket part number with the 850, the orientation of the bits inside is a bit different.
I just changed the stator on my son's 1000 this evening, so that image is still fresh in my memory.
