    Powder coating a head

Just curious, would anyone here powder coat a head. My thinking is no, it would retain heat. Am I wrong or?

I use Gunkote on engines when I paint them, one of its uses is exactly that as it conducts heat.
1978 Gs1085 compliments of Popy Yosh, Bandit 1200 wheels and front end, VM33 Smoothbores, Yosh exhaust, braced frame, ported polished head
1983 Gs1100ESD, rebuild finished! Body paintwork happening winter 2017:D

I would rather trust my bike to a technician that reads the service manual than some backyardigan that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix things.

Tkent powdercoated his cylinder head and reported good results. It might be hard to get good paint coverage down at the base of the fins though.
