    APE Clutch kit and springs

APE has a performance clutch kit for my '84 gs1150ef with an extra friction plate as well as heavy duty springs, does anyone have any experience with these? do I need them for street use?

I'm changing my carbs to Mikuni RS36s with pods and Hindle headers.

I'm using them. They work good if you use stock springs. The heavy springs are way too stiff.

You can also use half & half if your stock springs are a bit weak.... (brand new stock is supposed to be best for street).

OEM all the way for me with 3 stock and 3 HD springs if your using the RS36's and a pipe.
