First time valve lash check on a 79 GS1000?

    First time valve lash check on a 79 GS1000?

    At what milage does Suzuki say to check the valve lash? I bought my bike recently an it only has 7,000 miles on it.

      Whenever you buy a GS, you need to check the valve clearances unless the seller hands you a shop work order showing it has been done recently

      At 7000 miles, yours should have been checked twice alr ady

      Chances are more likely that it's never been done
      1978 GS 1000 (since new)
      1979 GS 1000 (The Fridge, superbike replica project)
      1978 GS 1000 (parts)
      1981 GS 850 (anyone want a project?)
      1981 GPZ 550 (backroad screamer)
      1970 450 Mk IIID (THUMP!)
      2007 DRz 400S
      1999 ATK 490ES
