What compression do you get on your GS ?

    Maybe the cam timing is off on the engine.... could explain higher compression and lack of power.

      When I start pulling it to bits I'll check that
      as I work down. Yes cam timing is a mistake
      that could have happened . An idiot mistake but
      I can admit that at that time it is possible
      All cylinders effected
      at the same mad increase when logically they
      should be lower. not much else can do that !
      with what I used (pistons and rings )(nothing fancy and lapped the valves
      myself)

      i Will forensically pull apart and check clearances.
      That will be weeks away mind but the answer must be known.
