Any tips on fitting new cush bushes to rear wheel of 82 650g katana they just don't wanna go in

astroglide or any lube stated not to harm rubber.

You have the cush rubbers mounted in the wheel yes?
So its a matter of getting the sproket carrier assembly and the "''paddles" inserted. It was tight iirc.
it was also 35 yrs ago but I think we resorted to using a thick plank as a buffer and drove it home bit by bit.

Make sure everything is really clean, you will be surprised at how much a thin layer of old material will interfere.

Check out post #62 in my GS850L thread linked in my signature. That's how I did mine.

No rubbers are not in the wheel can't get them in

Got bushes in by local shop when I put thrust washers(like sad face) and bolts in with wheel wont go home all the way removed bolts and washers and fits ok should washers face the other way (happy face)
