The mini fairing is to keep up the Night Rider theme. Plus I have trouble not cranking the throtle onto the main jets, and I forget to close my clam shell on my Shoie. Senior moment. I'll need to give it a quick gloss black finish before mounting it. Rifle ships them out that flat black primer color. I'd like a shorter smoked shield on it, but it's like $60.00. At least they stock parts for it. http://www.rifle.com/
