    different taillight bulbs

I finally got my permit and am driving my GS.(81 GS450L) I had some friends following me today and they said the tail light is pretty much non-existent. Its very light and can't see it at all. Where can I get a better bulb, perhaps a LED version? Only other solution I can think of is adding another rear taillight or two to help out. Any ideas? With me being a first-time rider I am very over-causcious and even though I also use hand signals I want my taillight to be really bright and noticable.

Be aware that not all LED's are equal. Some of the cheaper varieties are dimmer than your existing tail light. You may also want to consider getting a pulsating headlight and/or brake light. Make sure that they are legal in your riding area.

Based on the following article and some related research, I am running 2357LL (Long Life = 800 hours on the brake filament) bulbs in all my tail/brake lamps. A 25% brighter brake lamp for $1.25 http://www.webbikeworld.com/Motorcyc...ight-bulbs.htm

I wanted something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...550121335&rd=1
but can't seem to find one for my GS450l. I can't even find a part number to cross-reference with.
