Black case cleaning

Hi guys,
I'm trying to clean my black cases on my 83 1100e. Nothing seems to make them look good. Any help?

303 areospace protectant works great, also. In a pinche, after cleaning with engine degreaser to get the crud off, armour all will work, also. Just spray on, wipe down excess, run engine, and viola! instant shine!

I find that marvel mystery oil is great for most painted engine parts, cuts the crud and seems to evaporate overnight so as not to collect more dust and such. I just use a little on a rag and go to town.

I have used Armor All. Clean the engine spray on Armor All and start the engine up you will be surprised with the results. Andy
