Source for reproduction ZERO seat covers????

Does anyone know where to acquire seat covers like this one?

I am redoing some things on the skunk and am thinking these look pretty bad ass. I assume they would be as comfortable as the stock seat, especially if I put gel in it.

I know of someone that makes that seat, completely new.
Price approx. $800 ... have been looking for one for years but that's too rich for me.

Yeah that is crazy money. I don't even care about the logos really, I just would like that style and was hoping someone has it available.

The company who makes the OEM reproduction ones would probably be willing to make a version if they had one to use as a templet.

I just emailed Pit Replica to see what their interest may be.

        Keep us updated !

I went to an upholsterer, new foam and very nicely done on a standard seat pan ... 150 bucks.

That looks really good. I especially like raised part at the tank.

Pit Replica told me that they could make a knock off with minimum order of 15, but I'm not sure an embossed ZERO logo is worth all the trouble.

Does your feel padded enough at that thickness? And do you have gel or any particular type of foam?

They used regular seat foam, for me (95KG) it's perfectly comfortable.

                Thanks Steve.

It's a bike with 'history' for me.

Some 25 years ago i was going to build a GS1000 special, but had no real build plan yet.
Went to buy some parts from a guy that just had this bike built for him.
Love at first site when i saw the bike.
But ofcourse he would not sell it.
He won 'Best Bike of the show' price twice on the annual Suzuki show.
Many years later i saw the bike advertised, called the guy and told him i wanted the bike,
                pay his asking price unseen.

The original owner had to sell due to medical issues, sold it to a motorcycle dealer that
had this bike in his showroom for many years, only riding it couple of times a year on special
                occasions. It was his baby.
He passed away, this GS was in front of the funeral ride.

Since the seller had always wrenched on it with his buddy, the widow told him he could
take care of the bike and he did for years.
His situation changed and the bike was to be sold but the widow wanted to make sure
it went to someone that would love the bike as much as her late husband had.
What the bike would bring was not important.

When i sent them the pictures of my garage filled with GS1000 and GS1000S bikes, i was
                allowed to buy it.
Told him whenever they wanted to see the bike again they could.

Still love the bike to bits !
