How hard would it be to mount a 750 tank to my 550L. I can fabricate rear mounts, but are the fronts any different?

oK, I lied. I want to put a gs1100 tank on my bike... I'm confused by all the model numbers and letters. I want a tank like RotaryRodder, its got the hump and the knee cutouts.... Dont even really want the knee cutouts, I just like the lines of the tank.
