    Aluminum swingarm in black

I was originally planning on polishing this GS1100 swingarm for my Beast project, but is was just too far gone. Too much pitting and I couldn't polish the stains out to my liking. So she's back in black and going on the Skunk! \\/

I have another swingarm coming that should be in better condition that I can polish.

    Thanks.\\/
I was thinking of doing the same to my swingarm but I wasnt sure how it would look. Now I know. And I like it!
Is it painted or powder coated?
    Cheers

Being the cheap bastard I am, I painted it. It was etched primed and painted with engine enamel. If it doesn't hold up, I'll get it powdercoated when I do my Beast frame. But this engine enamel I've been using seems to hold up very well (Duplicolor Engine Enamel with Ceramic). This will be a good test for it.

Ifn I weren't a day late to the junkyard and missed that swingarm.

            Black is beautiful.

That would look cool! Or red with the side part left polished! Purdy!

                    Nice...

Looks great in black! I vote red on yours. Old Red bikes always conjure up images of the Red Barons Fokker triplane for me. Timless color pairing of red and black...I bet yours has a higher top speed too.
