Wiring to remove indicator panel?
I've just finished getting a GSXR front end on my 1980 GS1100e and I want to lose the instrument panel, but I'm pretty bad at reading wire diagrams. Can anyone help me out as far as which wires I need to connect where to bypass the indicator panel?Tags: None -

You don't need to do anything. Just leave the indicator panel connector unplugged. Make sure you have the ignition switch, blinkers, headlight, etc connected. -

Even for the check panel that lets yo know if your brake lights or what not aren't working? I'm pretty certain you do have to bypass it...Comment

I didn't have to do that on mine. I'm using Bandit 400 gauges and the only idiot lights I have are neutral, turn signal, and oil pressure. My brake light works fine for both front and rear brakes.Comment

Weird, I wonder if yours is set up differently. My switches run straight to the panel. Without those plugged in, they lights wont work.Comment
