    1980 GS1000E needs L side-cover

    I have a 1980 GS1000E in need of a L-side cover. I know these tend to be scarce. Can anybody tell me what model & years I should watch for that will work on my bike?

      Well Buckaroo...the 80-81 GS1100E and the 80-82 GS750E use the same cover...
      You can get them new and unpainted from flatoutmotorcycles for $43-$44 plus shipping...they usually have the best prices, but shipping is $9 minimum....
      You can price you local Suzuki dealer, price will be higher, plus tax, but now shipping.

      Or I can sell the used one I have...PM sent.

          '79 - '80 1000E are the only two that are swappable.
