Here's my 1980 Suzuki GS450L. Old picture but all it needs is paint and a seat pad.

Not much has been done to it. It has a 1979 Suzuki GS400 gas tank, cafe seat, painted rims, and crappy air filters . I will get K&N filters as soon as I get a 2-1 exhaust along with the correct jets.

The 450s make some of the sweetest cafes. Looking good.

Thanks! I will also ditch the side covers since they don't line up with the seat. Later, I'll get a new AGM battery and put that under the seat hump. Then I'll make a small metal box for the electronics to hide under the seat pan. I will post another pic when it's all done .

It looks like an L model fender and brake/tag light/mount.
            Why not?
Of course, you would have to prep the chrome for paint and paint it to match your bike's color.

            BTW, that bike looks FANTASTIC!

An L fender will bolt right on, with a little drilling in the frame. See my 550. I cut off the ends of the frame and used an aftermarket taillight, which is much smaller and sleeker than the stock L assembly.

That is one short exhaust on that 850!

                    How's it run?

                    Also welcome to the forum

1980 GS550e- Working project. 750tank stock tail and home made seat. I like my Cafe bikes but also dont like to remove airboxes. I need to find sidecovers but I have a total with Reg. of $500 into this daily rider.
