      Yes, I used a photo of that bike, as mine is in a state of disassembly in the yard and basement. Mine's black, but I was looking for a template to think out the seat treatment.

            '82 GS1100E - only minor mods

            Bought this mc almost two years ago. Some issues I've fixed, and some that I still need to address... but generally a good running bike so far. Not sure if I'll keep it long term or opt for a newer bike within the next couple of years.

                                You've got the forks pulled way up in the triples. Looks like when they compress they may bang into the lower triple. How much did that quicken the steering?
