Yea Joe, sorry he had three sets of carbs in that add. 34's were center pull, 36's side pull (yours) and yet another set of 36mm slingshot CV's.

Ogri, I was wondering if you wanted to sell the streetracker seat from the T500? How much?

Began the tear down for frame powder coating, everything pretty much off the bike except the engine.

              Joe,

Congrats on the second set of RSs. Our bikes look like evil twins in exact same stripped condition. Have you picked a color for the frame yet?

If we have the time tomorrow I hope to have my machinist buddy complete my new rear set plates. I did pick up the four mounting bolts for you. I'll take notes on the heli-coil process but I think its pretty straight forward. He suggests putting tap into drill press and working it back and forth by hand for first few threads,to make sure it starts straight, then just go to town. Once the coil is in you just break off the cross piece on the coil that the tool connect to.

The hardware store near me (Tru-Value) has 3/8"-24 helicoils in a pack with the correct tap drill and about eight coils plus the helicoil insert tool for $29 I'm sure they must be cheaper from other sources. I think I saw a bunch of ebay sellers of the kits as well.

Been kicking around different shades but I keep going back to the gloss black to stay with gloss black swingarm, thought maybe a deep charcoal but not sure how it will look with champagn.

Thanks on the bolts, I have been thinking for awhile about drilling them myself, just did not want to mess them up. I'll check out are local hardware store as well.

Did you lay the bike on its side to remove the engine?

Head gasket needs replacing and I may decide on what to do to the engine on this beast while I have it in pieces...

Hey Joe, Looks like you have been busy. That might not be a head gasket but rather the o-rings around the two inner front head bolts. Check the fiche

                            My fault?

                            Sorry.

You do understand though that having the frame powder coated is just the beginning.

You thought you were "sick" during the 700ES build.

Next, you will not want to put a non-pristene bolt back on the 1100E machine.

                            Errrrr, yep!

"OO" (Original Owner) forgot to have that 600 mile service done at the Suzuki Shop.

Where they back off 1/4 turn to re-torque the head.

Well, heads coming off, and at that point it is.............

                            Time to call "Ray".......

Cool jack stand by the way. ....
