aluminum cylinder head caps for GS1100E

I have seen photos of what looks like billet aluminum cylinder head caps or cam plug covers on the GS1100E. Mine has cheap looking chrome. What year/model to get aluminum or who is after market supplier?

I believe they were on some '82 gs1100's and all 83's etc.I have an extra set of the black ones if you need them.

If you're talking about the "finned and machined" caps that the 82 and up model 1100s use, they were stock Zook. Try Ebay, i see them on there all the time. However, before buying, perhaps someone could measure theirs for you, as the heads from the 82 and up models were changed. I dont know if this would have an effect, as ive never compared the two side by side.

the later 82 on 'finned' look covers fit all the early models no probs.
