1981 gs1100 guages

i was wondering what i could do for a better speedo since mine only goes to 85

Not sure if they are interchangeable, but the 83 1100 stock speedo goes to 140. I swapped out a set with my 82 1100.

get a set off the uk ebay ..i forget ...do u guys work in miles or kph

This way when the cop asks you how fast you were going, you can honestly say 85MPH.

I am pretty sure the 80-81 cluster is unique to those years. You cold get a Canadian/UK cluster, but they are in KPH.

I have some from a gs650g that go up to 200 kph (120mph)

if that will suit.

i have to find out if there interchangable i dont know how ill figure that out yet but yah the 85 speedo is week its already gone in 3rd gear!

uk ones are in mph up to 140.....have seen em often on ebay for fair money .this is the square light model were talking about isnt it ,in which case the 83s wont fit with the light surround...nor will any other model really. so you really want the originals ....unless you convert to the round light (tragic really) in which case mose models will fit ...gs1000e being the tidiest
