What differences between '83 1100ESD and ED?

Could a clone of an ESD be made by simply adding a the bikini fairing? Is the tank the same? What other differences are there?

Reason I ask is I have a chance to pick up an ED project and was thinking of a long term build of an ESD clone with the lockhart fairing like CafeKid's and the suspension mods like Kachigi's.

I believe the tank is the same,the gauges will be different.
I'm sure others here will know more.

The nose fairing is the only difference, it is the sport version. So far air-tech and frp sales the fairing, that i know of. Mine is a 82 model and made a es clone the zook fairing lockhart lowers.
