I came across the Color Rite website and noticed they sell aerosol cans of just about any color you could ever want. Has anyone used their aerosol paint as well as clear coat? I don't have acess to a gun so I am kind of limited. Any advice or suggestions is appreciated.

I have not used their paints, but you could have your paint scanned, formulated, mixed and put in a aerosol paint can locally.
do you have a compressor or have access to one? if so, you can have the base coat mixed and use one of these http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=92126 just be sure you take it apart and clean and tighten it well, first!.
then buy a good clear for it in an aerosol can, but it would be better to get a 1/2 pint of clear, the reducer, hardener and spray it with a gun.
DON'T for get a proper spray mask!!!!

I have used their cleaner, paint, and clearcoat on my old GS550 (see signature for picture).
The cleaner removes wax and oils. The paint is expensive ($20 a can, if I recall). A whole bike (fender, fairing, tank, tailpiece, side covers) may run 4-5 cans total.
I followed Frank's paint tips on the GSR main page...it's VERY helpful. I did 2-3 coats with about an hour between, then on the final coat I applied clearcoat before it completely dried. I applied 2-4 coats of clearcoat thereafter.

Their spray urethane seems a little pricey, but if it sprays as easy as the site says, Id be willing to try this.Comment

I noticed a thread about this website also, Alsa Corp. It seems like a good product, but also a little pricey.
Thanks for the link Rustybronco. Have you tried this gun personally? Looking at the cost of some of these aerosol cans it may cost less to purchase the gun and paint as well as the clear. I really need to price everything out and see which is the best. If it is close, it seems like the life of the aerosol paint job doesn't compare to mixing and spraying.
As far as a color, I haven't completely decided, but I am looking at some copper colors. I have always been a huge fan of orange, but I think I would like to go with a copper metal flake color.Comment

The one in the picture is mine and yes I have used it. the blue is some spare base coat I had at work.
it gives a nice 3-1/2" pattern if you take it apart and clean the gunk out of it.
the harbor freight one, I have not used. but for $10 give it a go and if it doesn't spray well, return it.
