I have an '81 GS550T. I use it to commute, my route takes me along the upper Susquehanna and after becoming expert in the spring hatches, I decided it's time to get some sort of windshield. I looked at several sites, have some idea on how to measure, but was hoping to get some advise or recommendation from GS readers. Thanks.

I have a National Cycle Deflector on my bike. Decent wind protection, and the screen comes off quickly, without tools, once mounted, if you wish to ride without it sometimes. Using the forum's search feature should bring up several threads & a lot of info/pics to help you make an informed decision.
