All joking aside…how in the heck did you mask around those letters? I’m getting ready to paint an ignition cover emblem and was planning to spray the entire emblem black and then come back with some lacquer thinner on a rag and rub down the letters to let the aluminum show through.

It took a lot of patience and a lot of care and an exacto knife...

Actually, I kinda like the colour of that pic...Has a very "industrial" greyish washed out but sharp look...I need a photo editor program..I could have fun...
