That's a very nice compliment. I appreciate it very much, Nessism. The engine is bone stock. Other than the Lockhart cooler, Yosh race pipe, and the velocity stacks, it's just as it came from the factory. It's only got 18K on it and runs great. I was going for a visual thing rather than a pure performance approach..although a big bore kit with some Yosh cams would be pretty sweet..hmm.. Wow. Thanks so much. And I agree with you. Hands down one of the most beautiful bikes I have ever seen on this site. I agree a future BOM for sure. I love all the mods, and they really seem to work well with the bike. You should be proud.

The most appreciated compliments always come from peers. I'm humbled by everyone's. This site has been good for me. Fantastic job!
Great to see the originality still show thru.
As you said these bikes have soul. They're not cookie cutter designs.
The black and gold are a great offset to the stock motor and wheels.

Yep that's right.. all the new ones to me look like they've been stamped out with a cookie cutter. I like some of them, but a very very few. The V-Max being one of them. But like I said, call me crazy or what ever, but if I was offered my choice (free) between your bike or a v-max I'd have a hard time picking and most likely would settle for yours, and I'm being honest.Originally posted by nvr2old View PostWow. That's what makes this bike look so good. They say you can't reinvent the wheel, but with nvr2old going with the black, I think he just reinvented the wheel. Blacking it out like that in my opinion is what makes this bike beautiful, and to top it off, toss in the Wes Cooley colors and that makes the thing stunning.
