After shooting the gas tank yesterday I spent the afternoon reassembling the pieces and this is
      what she looks like now.

I got the seat up because the clear is still drying, don't want put any marks in it. Stripes lined
up well on this side not so well on the other . . .

I am going to paint the old fork brace so I left it off for now. In the meantime I am using a GS1100 stamped brace

          A couple of more pics

Here is where I started this afternoon

I am not sure whether I will install that boat tail trim. I still have not buffed out anything but like
Redirtrider mentioned it should be a lot easier to do on the bike

Left side view: IMO the Z-1R turn signals look better than the round ones.

Thank you for the compliment. This bike influenced my choice of colors.

                                Griffin,
Thanks for the compliment; I didn't lower the seat yesterday because the gas tank was the last item I clear coated on Saturday.

                                russ33,
Thank you, since I don't have a GS1000S like yours so I figured I would take a chance and paint it a little different. The blue looks lighter outside than the garage photos. I will post a picture with the seat down shortly.
