You're a disk jockey right? I believe I stumbled on your webpage recently while looking for info on restoration and re-painting of my rusty cooley tank. Can you shoot me a PM with a ballpark figure for repainting the my S tank, side covers, fender, and fairing? It would be great if I could have it redone by someone that also owns an S.

Thank you all for the kind words, and thanks to all who have responded to paint possibilities. I appreciate it very much.

If you will be doing restorations for other people make sure you get a commercial liability policy so that you are protected.

Thank you kindly for the offer. I love bartering, but I'm set up and ready to go. Securing a nice spray booth was one of my first commitments.

Here is a thread that you might consider. There seemed to be alot of demand for multicolor schemes like the early GSXR's. Plastic with NOS paint are pricey.

my new paint job is almost done can't wait to get it on the bike. There are no decals there all stencils.

                              nvr2old,

I have no doubt you will find lots of jobs here at the GS Forum and as word of mouth spreads to other bike forums you will be expanding the business within 18 months. . . . . good luck

Thanks for your confidence, Steve. People have suggested I do this for quite some time now, and I'm hoping to make a good run at it. How's that old saying go.."Find what you love to do..then try making a living doing it..?"
