    ET Finally Came Home!

My "next project" 1980 GS1100ET has finally made it home this afternoon.

I will clean it up a bit tomorrow and store it in my garage for future tinkering.

When this project starts, ET will inherit the front and rear suspension, wheels, etc from this 1993 GSX-R1100 that I have picked up a few months ago.

I will not start on this soon ... but pics and details will be posted as soon as I do.

It should make for some good winter viewing and reading.
    Good luck with the project.

Gosh ! Whats wrong with that Gixer ? If it dont run Id at least find a long downhill road an go for a coast before you rip it apart.

Any plans for that fairing ?

Nothing other than needing TLC and inspection to be registered (was considered scrapped before someone started to repair it).

I have purchased this GIXER because i needed the suspension, wheels and a few other parts for my GS1100ET. My son in law wanted the engine and a few other parts. I will part out the rest (including all of the tupperware) in order to offset a portion of the purchase expense.

It will not necessarily be this winter ... other projects that need to be completed ... I'm presently in the "parts gathering" stage.

          Good luck with the project.
          Thanks!
