I was wondering if anyone has swapped out their stock taillight assembly for something a little more custom? Any ideas or photos would help. Thanks!

Depends on what youre looking to do. Ill be using a flexible LED strip with dual element LEDs. While others just like to replace the incandescent bulb with a LED direct replacement.
And then with a Google search of custom or aftermarket motorcycle brake lights, you can find a large selection. I prefer that look stealth. Only see it when its in use. -

I'm in the same boat as you..looking to replace the stock tail light..just havent found what I wanted yet...trying to shorten the look of the bike a bit...I'm hitting a swap meet tomorrow here in town so maybe I'll run across something their...be interested to see what you come up with ..
