    body panel interchange

Here is a real newb question. Do side covers, gas tank, and seat fit from a Gs 1100 E to a Gs 1100 L? Why would suzuki make 2 different bikes if they are the same model. In the automotive world when you buy a cadillac deville and you need a new fender it doesn't matter if its a DTS or DHS trim level the stuff all swaps over. Now all that reasoning comes from the automotive world which is nothing like the bike world i understand.

I dont think they would interchange. Unless you mod the tank to fit.
    I didnt do it I swear !!

Ahhhh...but they aren't the same model. If I remember right, all the 1100 L models are actually 1100GL's with an 8 valve 1100 engine vice the 16 valve 1100 enigine in the E's and a shaft drive rather than the chain.

Check out the gallery for pictures of them.

Not my 1100. It is an L but it has the 16v engine and is chain driven. Course they only made mine one year. lol

Ha !!! I knew I'd screw that up.....

I get all the different models and years messed up. There's not enough room in my big brain for all of it.
