Option 1: leave the masking in place, sand down the runs, and then hit the white with clear before moving to the blue
Option 2: remove the masking, sand down the runs, mask again and shoot the blue before moving to clear. This option will obviously require masking right on top of the base coat which is a little risky.
Regardless of option 1 or 2, the plan was to sand down the first couple layers of clear before laying down the graphics, and then more clear. When laying down one base coat next to another I've experienced some color bleeding when the clear goes down, although this is not a major concern because the graphic tape covers the mask line.
What say ye on best technique? I'm leaning toward going straight to blue base coat. Can't remember what I did on my other S.

Making progress overall so that's the main thing.
