    help fitting GS1000S fairing

I have just got hold of a GS1000s nose fairing. it has the original bracket with two loops at the top and brackets at the bottom.

Does anyone know how where these fit please?

The two loop brackets mount to the top triple clamp bolt, better yet get a longer bolt because the GS1000 & GS1000E bolts are too short.

The bottom brackets are mounted under the bolt head of the two lower triple clamp pinch bolts. They brackets face down. You also should use longer bolts as well

This is a link to a posting I made that shows mounting the Wes Cooley fairing to my '82 GS1100EZ, I know that the bike is different but the brackets are pretty much the same, I used the mount brackets for the GS1000S as patterns for my brackets so for all practical purposes they are the same.

      Hope it helps.
