    Painting Cases ?

How important is the coating on the inside of stock cases. It's a sort of goldish annodizing. I'm asking because aircraft stripper got on an area in the clutch bay and removed some of it. Do I need to paint over where it's come off?

That be burnt/old oil your talking about. ALL suzuki internal cases are plain alloy. Well i could be wrong.

I assumed it was some type of coating but you may be right. I notice that the 1150 cases are painted black on the inside.

As said already, it's oil residue.
