Exactly the way I like to ride. Sounds to me like you need to find a nice 850 GL......ya i have a shield but took it off temperately while working on getting it ride-able. i like to lean back and relax when i ride. just sit back and enjoy. as if i were riding a lazyboy or a couch.
and ya i figured with a 2" ish rise i can still use stock cables and such... im not putting apes on the thing like that one funny pic thats floating around here... i cant ride like im stretched on a wrack

ya i thought that back when i was reading up when i got the G... now i have 2 G's saw a bunch of them for sale on craigslist recently when scouting for GS parts. sigh if i only had more moneyComment

I looked at the risers that Steve linked to on the first page. Thanks Steve.
Will the 30mm (1.2") risers restrict access to the ignition switch?
It sure seems like a 3" riser would.Comment
