      I found my manufacturer at http://www.denniskirk.com/, found my model and checked compatability at http://www.slipstreamer.com/ and bought on ebay. Good deal. Total after shipping about $45 for a SlipStreamer S-08 with mounting hardware. See pics at http://www.michaelstoops.com/motorcycle/

        Another place to look at options is http:
        //www.nationalcycle.com/
        but for the best price look around as a lot of people carry at least part of their line.

          If you ride in the winter at all the SS-28 Slipstreamer is worth a look. If it will fit your bike its a pretty good all round windshield.

          I used it on my Honda Sabre for several years. Its big pluses were that it was short enough to look over, moved the wind off of the chest, dropped the windblast to the helmet to a manageable level, and provided hand protection.

          I had to play with it a little to find the optimum position (angle) for the windshield but after I did I found that the difference in a 700 or 800 mile day was that my neck wasn't locked up at the end of the day. When it was splattered with mud or iced over it could easily see over it. When I encountered heavy rain and or light hail I could lean down behind it and the envelope would carry most of it over me. The last advantage I want to mention is that I could easily ride when the temperature was 0 to 10 F with good winter gloves and be as comfortable as I was at about 40F without the windshield because of the hand protection.

            best prices and optional heights and colors, way better than going to the dealer or Dennis Kirk. Dirll down the site to get to the choices. The AOL address is just that, the site is located elsewhere.
