    1978 Black GS1000 paint code

Anyone have the correct paint code for a BLACK 1978 GS1000EC?
Also, what is the original finish on the plastic sidecovers? I know it's not flat or matte black.Satin? Eggshell?
    Cheers,

It's polished plastic as far as I know... you can achieve it with fine cutting polish.

The Dupli Color gloss black is a perfect max, don't know the code.... Also O-reilly/Kragen do a basic $2.99 can of Gloss black that is a perfect match

      Hi,

      I can only suggest...

If you check the parts fiche for your bike, look on the fuel tank page and get the last three digits of the part number. That's the Suzuki color code. I think the pin stripes even have color codes. Then cross-reference that number/color with the ColorRite chart HERE.

      Thank you for your indulgence,
