Passed through your area yesterday on the way home. Then, about halfway up Rt. 71 on my way to Rt. 75, we hit a NASCAR induced traffic jam. It took 2 hours to go 10 miles! We finally gave up, turned around and found some backroads that eventually took us through Lawrenceburg, IN. and caught the 275 bypass around Cinci. Turned a 6 hour trip into 9 hours. Cripes!Current Bikes:

Your bike is really an eye catcher now! It looks fantastic!
I like the pedals you have on it, they could come in handy if you run out of fuel!

Ha! They do look like pedals don't they. Makes for a more relaxed leg position too. Problem is if I lean into a corner too much, they drag. And they are too dang expensive to let drag. I guess I'll have to rotate them up some.Current Bikes:

Great job. Great looking bike. Now the question is where did you get that backrest? My wife`s driving me crazy to get 1 and that looks like just what I need. Not a big fan of the tall Sissy bar but yours is spot on. I`ve currently got and old Vetter trunk mount on pulling double duty as a luggage rack. Makes it a lot easier to carry the briefcase and lunch bag to the train in the morning.Comment

The backrest came with the luggage rack and luggage. They are all KG brand and go together. I bought all of it along with my Vetter fairing from a guy up in Michigan who was stripping a perfectly good GS1000 down the chop it up. Don't know if he ever did though. Hope not. Anyway, the backrest mounts to the side holes on the luggage rack.Current Bikes:

Thanks for the info. i`m debating letting my son fabricate something and welding it to the luggage rack. He`s pretty at welding. He actually fabricated my grab rail for me. That was pre gsResources for me.Comment
