I'm planning on dishing the sides of my 82 450L tank. I was wondering if there was anywhere online I could print a template for the shape of the dishes or if most people just create theirs by hand. I want to dish the entire side areas pretty much, not just knee dishes on the back of the tank.

Easy just cut out both sides in the size that u want dished areas and then swap them to the opposite sides and weld in place and have tank checked for leaks rather simple , just take time to plan , make template take measurements and cut . Will come out great !!Comment

Thanks diablo, that's the route I think I'm gonna take. I found a video on youtube of a guy doing it by hand with a rubber mallet but at the end it's uneven and needs body filler. Cutting and welding seems to be easier and the result is more even as well.Comment
