Just finished reading a restoration story on a Cooley, in South Africa. I know Cooley's were made in blue and white, as well as red and white. But was wondering if they were shipped to S.A. in this color ?

Interesting bike. I think the article is stating that it is an after market built race bike, being restored to it's race specs. -

As I understand it, the paint was only on the 13 that were made..never seen production.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

That's the way I read it too Chuck. But the paint scheme isn't like I would expect on a racing bike. The only reference I can find to Keith Peterson on line, is under fatalities, in Wikipedia 1982.
