Just finished reading a restoration story on a Cooley, in South Africa. I know Cooley's were made in blue and white, as well as red and white. But was wondering if they were shipped to S.A. in this color ?

Interesting bike. I think the article is stating that it is an after market built race bike, being restored to it's race specs. -

That's the way I read it too Chuck. But the paint scheme isn't like I would expect on a racing bike. The only reference I can find to Keith Peterson on line, is under fatalities, in Wikipedia 1982. It is not clear whether it was he who died. Maybe some of our South African members might know more of this story.Comment
