    Manufactured Cooley Colors ?

Just finished reading a restoration story on a Cooley, in South Africa. I know Cooley's were made in blue and white, as well as red and white. But was wondering if they were shipped to S.A. in this color ?

Interesting bike. I think the article is stating that it is an after market built race bike, being restored to it's race specs.

That tank has one of the worst paint schemes I've seen. Other than that it's a nice bike.

As I understand it, the paint was only on the 13 that were made..never seen production.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

That's the way I read it too Chuck. But the paint scheme isn't like I would expect on a racing bike. The only reference I can find to Keith Peterson on line, is under fatalities, in Wikipedia 1982. It is not clear whether it was he who died. Maybe some of our South African members might know more of this story.
