Multifunctional Single Guage Cluster Pics
Okay so planning out the budget for the remainder of the project to hopefully get this bike up and running by May. Really want to get ride of the big nasty stock cluster and clean up the front end a bit. Have been looking into the mini gauges but was looking more for a singe do it all guage that would work (Require MPH, Tach, and Fuel Guage). I will be doing my own searches, was wondering if peeps could post what they have done to give their guage area a minimalistic look.

I'm contemplating getting my wife to buy me one of these for an anniversary present in March given the issues I'm having with my gauges at the moment, should have everything you need and them some. Should be cheaper in the US also:
I like the fact that the bar graph tacho matches my existing tacho with the 12K RPM max... -

That's a real neat unit above! I wonder where you could score one of those? My problem is finding an ADR approved one, which is a problem the Acewell solves. Oh, that Acewell has a fuel gauge I believe...Comment

I.m searching a cb77 dash for another project.
The one on the picture is an early type.
these go for around 100-250$ on ebay.
I have this gauge on my gs1000.
it have RPM, speedo, idiot lights and maybe a fuel gauge, i dont remember.
Look for a genuine Acewell, the chinese copy are garbage

That looks pretty cool, and yes I've heard the knock-offs are garbage also.
My only concern with the Acewell is if the extra stainless steel bracket they sell to mount it to the handle bar clamps will allow room for the ignition switch.Comment

What about one of those pieces that Mindless has on his bike, and a few others here on the board.
The have a few models, from reasonable to stupid expensive, I forget the name now, and too lazy to search, trail something or another I think....go check his build thread.Comment

Uncle Mike did a little looking around and found this little gem at the Trail Tech site. No gas guage but its all black and has everything else you could need and it is smallish too. Now if it has back light for night riding I am set.

I like the Trail Tech Vapor (pic attached, and see my albums). it has everything but a fuel gauge, which I don't think you'll find, anyhow. Costs about $175 as pictured. Info at trailtech.net.
This thing is small enough to be mounted on, or inset into, the headlight bucket.Last edited by Guest; 01-03-2012, 05:39 PM.Comment
