1978 GS1000E correct gauge face colours.

Last night, I built up the gauges with the brown inner ring using the second best set of parts I had and, except for cleaning up the wiring harness, the violet set of gauges are re-assembled and will be put aside to use on my 78.

Big T, just to clarify what you are stating, is the inner 'kp/h' ring colour on your factory stock 1000 a light brown?

You are correct, my 1978 1000 standard that I bought new has a brown kph ring in the speedo
