    Which gauges?

Can anyone tell me a good gauge swap with a working shift indicator? Prefer non digital but anything is better then stock gauges.

What's wrong with the stock gauges? Also, it might help to know what bike is being discussed here, as to which gauges might fit what, etc....

The bike is a 1984 gs550l. The gauges are ok just a crack in the top. Would post a pic but can't do so from my phone.
