        Nicely done ! ! !

Don't see too many red frames. Looks great on that combo.

A little flat tracker in that build.

Real clean and tidy! I like that you can tell it's still a GS, but plus.

Chain drive so it's not a G (shaft drive) model. It's either an E or an L. Judging by the wheels, I'd say it was an L model.

                  Now its simply awesome.

                    450 twin?

All that work and no rear sets? What a shame.....

my guess is GS400 or GS450, not a 425 (because they had kickstart) and not an L.

ok ok....here it is as i got it in 2008 straight from a barn...literally

The bike is a GS450L with a S tank....It engine in this pic is the original, but I spun a bearing and now have a 450T engine in the mail...

Everything is customized....here is a pic of the shaved triple tree, gas cap i fabbed along with the 500 series gauges, and bezel I made...notice the vintage grips and the anodized red and blue throttle....

Here it is befor decals and you can see the licence plate ...this was before i finally installed the tail light...the seat is made of t piece of 7 layer maple ply wood, with the cowling made from the back haalf of a Harley Sportster tank, the fiberglass gel battery is inside of it along with the ignitor

Yes I do it all myself!

Here is an early mock up of the build...

The seat started as a fiberglass project, and went through a lot of stages before you see what you see today...as did the exhaust and cockpit

I'll post more picks after i put in the new motor....

Aaaah I remember seeing that last photo on here before quite some time ago.

I really like how you blended that seat pan into the rear of the tank.

Too many guys leave an awkward join there so you can see the seat is not made for the bike.

Clever hiding the battery like that, and I like that the wiring is invisable very nice.

Don't say can't, as anything is possible with time and effort, but, if you don't have time things get tougher and require more effort.
