    What is the punishment....

...for copying someone's colour scheme? I had toyed with the scheme previously, but then I saw someone with it on this site and now I like it even more. Will I be cast out or shunned? Or will it just be taken as a compliment?

    I would think the later.

always a compliment and you cant get slated for painting a colour scheme that you really want. go for it.
name the owner and bike and see what ther opinion is

People have copied mine, only they changed it a little bit... That's OK, I copied it from someone else and changed it a little bit.

MisterCinders, you've got a big yellow compliment coming your way real soon. I was going for an early jaguar primrose yellow, but now it's here it looks exactly like yours so I thought I may as well come clean.

Two words - Who Cares? I've seen lots of blue bikes on here and to be honest, they all look good so why should I complain if mine looks similar?

My 2 bikes are stock, there's lots of copies out there, somewhere, but I don't care.
