    1st Motocycle

I just got my first bike a couple weeks ago. A '82 GS850 GL that runs greats. After riding it for a couple weeks I decided that I defiantly need a new pair of handle bars, the stock ones are really rough on my wrists. I was looking for some online and saw handlebar weights as well. Do I need to put weights on the bars so they do not vibrate? It may be a dumb question but I have no idea.

    Thanks for the input.

Replace those aweful "L" bars with something flatter and you will be much happier. Forget about weights until you replace the bars.

Life is a balancing act, enjoy every day, "later" will come sooner than you think. Denying yourself joy now betting you will have health and money to enjoy life later is a bad bet.

Do they vibrate now? If they do fix the problem.

Bar end weights are band aids for bikes with a problem.
      The 850 should be smooth.
