    GS450E/S tank interchange?

Does anyone have any idea what tanks I can swap out my 81 450E tank with? Mine has developed a small hole so I have to pull it but would like to keep riding. These tanks are super rare, and expensive when you do find one.

The L and T tanks of the same vintage should clear the backbone of the frame etc. ok, but you will probably need to relocate the mounts at the front and rear a little going by what I've seen others do on here.

The E and S tanks share the same part number, other than the colour suffix. Look here for the part numbers...http://www.alpha-sports.com/suzuki_parts.htm

You'd probably be best off with an L tank, same rear mount, as opposed to the T tank which uses a two bolt mount.

You could always give me the the E/S tank and Ill give you a T tank...Seems fair right?!

Yes, they are the same tank, rare and expensive. Looking for options oher than the e/s tank i can use while i get the e repaired. May try an L or pull one of the 750 e tanks and measure it up.
