    I put some NOS mirrors on to replace the Napoleons that were on there. Got a couple of changes planned for the Kat this season; a return to stock signals, put a stock rear fender back on, ditch the Ohlins and swap on a different set of wheels/tires.
    I'd forgotten about this thread until someone bumped it the other day. I managed to get most of my summer season projects done - 'ditched' the Ohlins and replaced them with some period Fox shocks and installed wire wheels;

    I also swapped in stock signals after these photos were taken.

      She's a beauty, Peter.
      I have the same muffler on a bike and really like the sound.

                  Beautiful work as always Rob!

                  I really can't wait for my Kat to join this thread but it's gonna be a while and won't be up to that standard...

                    Ray: The turbo is on the shelf. I didn't even get any riding in last summer. It is still in the plans though.

                    Pete: Thanks M8.

                      I love this color, but then I'm partial to green. I have an 01 Bullitt Mustang, and they came in Dark Highland Green (mine), Tru Blue, and Black. We go back and forth on our forum about "which color is best" and some people actually get upset if you say green is better than black or blue (after all, Steve McQueen's Mustang in Bullitt was green). Too funny at times. I see you guys are doing the same about the "old" Katanas and "new" ones.

                        How 'bout a "Mini-Me Kat"..... I know, looks like a Honda engine (?)...but how cool is the tiny body work? I'd like to know the process.

                          Nice Larry, have seen a pic or two of those around the traps... and if I ever have to replace my little 450 one of the import water cooled 250 or 400 Kat's would be fun for the commute.
