hey i got a GS850GL, its an 82 model and the wind is so strong at 70mph its crazy, does anyone have a good recommendation of a good windshield or fairing to make a difference

How much you want to be protected?
For protection almost as good as a frame-mounted Windjammer, try the National Cycle Plexifairing 3.
